Problem Statement
In India, printing digital docs often requires WhatsApp or Gmail, storing data on their clouds. Vendors download files locally, risking data leaks and data sale to cyber-frauds. ZapShare eliminates this privacy gap with secure, zero-knowledge P2P transfers. Because the printing industry in India is dominated by millions of tiny, independent shops rather than large, regulated chains, there has been no centralized push to implement secure standards. Each shop is a "silo" of unmanaged, insecure data.
Solution & Value Proposition
ZapShare utilizes a Zero-Knowledge, P2P architecture, print only access to vendor. Data is encrypted locally and streamed directly from sender to print with print only access. The novelty lies in replacing persistent cloud storage with volatile P2P streaming for physical-to-digital touchpoints. Unlike WhatsApp, ZapShare prevents data "residue" by ensuring files never sit on a server or a vendor’s permanent hard drive with end to end encryption.
